Behavioral Health at WMC with Jefferson Center for Mental Health
- A partnership with Jefferson Center for Mental Health since May 2015 has led to more accessible mental health for patients and the community!
- Visit with a Behavioral Health Provider on the same day as a WMC visit or schedule separately for depression, anxiety, trauma, and loneliness.
- Integrated Behavioral Health means your WMC provider and a Behavioral Health Professional communicate regularly about you and your care.

Loneliness
Loneliness is a complex diagnosis and is treatable. Westminster Medical Clinic is participating in a practice-based research initiative on loneliness, and how is can be helped. Research shows that younger individuals are more lonely, and for anyone, research suggests Behavioral Health therapy. In our initiative, we also asked patients what they think would help! Our patients say volunteering, counseling/therapy, outdoor activities, learning clubs, animals, music, and art would help.
Talk with your Provider if you are interested in taking an at-home questionnaire or if you want to talk about treatment options.
To learn more, check out the video below on the initiative through a local nonprofit 501c3 that we support (Colorado Center for Primary Care Innovation), and the current information brochure on Loneliness.
